Transformers Are Good Dancers

[Megatron Voice]: Decepticons, transform! breakdance!

Someone buy me Optimus. And there is a live-action movie slated for release in 2006. I think Steven Speilberg is attached to it. Okay, that's more than enough Tansformers info for today. You are such a geek. Please bring back the 8o's.

The new $50 Bill is available starting today. Check it out.

Eventually, all currency is expected to be redesigned with new color schemes and anti-counterfeiting features, but the next bill to be redesigned has yet to be announced.

They Took My Stapler

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Dom too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire.

Liberal Kerry

If by a 'liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a 'liberal,' then I'm proud to say I'm a 'liberal.'

Please Don't Talk Like This

I am really starting to hate how people are using technical terms in everyday speech.

Here are some examples.

"That's a good question, but we will discuss that offline".
"Do you have the bandwidth to take this assignment now?"
"Download this to your memory."

These terms only be used with talking about computers and technology. Not everyday office speak. Talk to your pet robot like that, not me.

That's my 00000010 cents --- See right there! How annoying is that!?

Star Wars Battlefront and DVD

By now, you have probably seen a million commercials for the new Star Wars DVDs and the game Battlefront. Now I'm still undecided if I will buy the DVDs, considering that I bought the VHS Widescreen Box Set and I have yet to take it out of the shrink-wrap!

As for Battlefront, this I already have. Pretty cool game. It's just like Battlefield 1942, but set in the SW Universe. Never gets old does it. ;)

Check out the Battlefront website for some cool pix and other info. Let's just hope Episode III is more like IV and V.

Fall TV Shows

Well its that time of year again, when our TV shows return to new episodes. Now that I have a DVR from my cable company I pretty much only watch the shows I really want to at night. If you dont have a Tivo, ReplayTV, or a DVR, you don't know what you are missing. It will literally change how you watch TV (hopefully for the better).

Summer is over, and so are my HBO summer series Six Feet Under and Entourage. Coming up... The Wire. I got into The Wire a little last season, hopefully it will continue to improve. Looking forward to Carnivale!

Smallville
starts September 22. Now, this show can be pretty bad sometimes, but it has me hooked. Its the myth of Superman that you just can't resist. The show is slick looking, just need to work on the plot some more. They do throw in a good plot twist here and there, but you have to take it with the stupid villian-of-the-week and the insane relationships between the characters.

Then there are the usual "reality" shows that I watch time permitting. The Amazing Race is one of the better ones, but that is ending. I am kind of tired of Survivor. I think there are just too many of these shows to keep my interest. The Apprentice was entertaining, and I just started watching the new series.

There is always New York Giants football on Sundays and my Yankees' now annual playoff run to watch. I really try to limit how much TV I watch... can ya tell?
