The Best Programs You're Not Using

... or maybe you are? These are some of the apps I use everyday*.

Firefox - Web Browser - http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Why are you still using IE? No. 1 reason to switch to Firefox is tabs. You'll see what I mean. Also, Firefox is faster, and much more secure than IE. This is a must.

FileZilla - FTP Client - http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
There are so many FTP clients out there, but this one gets the job done just as well as the others, and its free!

BitTorrent - P2P Client - http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/
OK, for those of you that have been living under a rock (or those of you that aren't total geeks like me), this program is fantastic. Just search in Google for "torrents" and you will find tons of programs that are being shared. This is especially good for tracking down TV episodes of new programs that you maybe forgot to tape^H^H^H^H Tivo. It creates a sharing network of everyone that is downloading the file. Superfast. There are a good number of 3rd party clients that use the BitTorrent engine, currently I'm using Azerus.
